What is a SALT SERVE Trip?
SALT trips allow us to support our global partners in meaningful ways. The mission of these trips includes serving families with children who have special needs, assisting new church plants, and participating in service projects that help meet practical needs in the field.
OUR PROCESS
STEP 1
Interest Meeting
Click APPLY TODAY button below and fill out a short form. SALT team will reach out to you and schedule an Interest Meeting over the phone or Zoom.
The purpose of the short interest meeting is:
- For SALT leadership to better understand you and your team.
- To deepen your understanding of SALT mission and strategy.
- To affirm alignment with SALT's values.
STEP 2
Commitment Meeting
After the interest meeting you will be invited to start participating in Commitment Meetings.
Focus of these meetings is to:
- Introduce you to other team members.
- Review SALT Gospel Statement.
- Commit to team meetings.
- Discuss overall budget and schedule.
- Discuss fundraising process and procedures.
- Answer any questions.
STEP 3
Register
After attending a commitment meeting, you will be asked to Register for the trip. During registration you will be asked to fill out various forms, upload a copy of your passport and pay an initial deposit.
Following the registration, SALT will create a trip Dashboard for each participant, which will be used for:
- Uploading your passport pictures.
- Filling out various forms.
- Keeping track of your fundraising.
- Team announcements.
